Term contract with his current Formula One team McLaren-Mercedes that

World’s oldest car sells for cool 4.6Mil


 

Almost
130 years old, one of the surviving 1884 De Dion Bouton ET Trapardoux
Dos-A Dos steamer has recently sold for 4.62Mil by a family that owned
the vehicle for more than 80 years in its 127 years of existence. The
1884 De Dion Bouton ET Trapardoux Dos-A Dos has gone under the hummer at
none other than the Vintage Motor Cars at Hershey RM Auction in

Range Rover to produce high performance Evoque version

Ford Escape to offer four-cylinder power


 


Next
generation Ford Escape will no longer be equipped with six-cylinder
power following recent revelation of EcoBoost four-cylinder alternative
making its way into the next generation 2013 Ford Escape. According to
recent press release, there will be two four-cylinder EcoBoost engines
on offer consisting of 1.6L, 2.0L followed by 2.5L Ti VCT four-cylinder

ZF 8-speed auto for Jeep Grand Cherokee


 

Jeep
will be introducing eight-speed automatic transmission to its Grand
Cherokee line-up following latest confirmation that the all new ZF
eight-speed transmission will be compatible with all currently available
engines right across the Cherokee range. Early speculations suggests
Jeep will introduce the latest in automatic transmission technology on
the upper spec V8 and Diesel models



No replacement for Volvo C70


 

Volvo
has decided to discontinue future production of C70 after announcing it
will no longer be replacing the current C70 model (convertible due for
replacement in 2013) with next generation line-up, further adding that
it plans to close the gates to the production facility in Uddevalla,

Volkswagen Golf TDI fuel line problems


 

Whilst
we wait for confirmation if Volkswagen latest Fuel Line recall will
affect vehicles sold in Australia the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration (NHTSA) in US has issued a recall notice affecting over
170,000 VW 2010, 2011 and 2012 plated vehicles amidst recent revelation
of fuel line problems on VW TDI engines fitted to Volkswagen Golf, Jetta

Alfa Romeo 220kW 1.8L engine


 

Alfa
Romeo is reportedly working on entirely new four-cylinder engine to
power the future of Alfa-Romeo sports cars, starting with recently
introduced Alfa Romeo 4C.  According to recent press-release, Alfa Romeo

220kW delivery whilst meeting the Europe and US standard that Alfa hopes
